The Science Library offers a variety of workspaces and learning environments (see “Choosing Your Workspace” ). It has more than 900 seats spread across three floors, designed to accommodate a range of activities, from collaborative work to individual study.
Areas accessible without a reservation
- A quiet room
- A group workspace, open to everyone without a reservation
- A place to watch movies and documentaries
- A game room equipped with a Super Nintendo
Individual and Dedicated Spaces
- Serene spaces for quiet work
Spaces that can be reserved through the Affluences app
- 23 venues of various sizes, bookable online

- The Higgs and Quintinie rooms, which can be reserved through Affluences
The Science Library welcomes visitors with disabilities. The Higgs and Quintinie rooms are available by reservation through the Affluences app.
The University Joint Service for Information, Counseling, and Career Placement (SCUIO-IP) is located on the ground floor of the Science Library. Its offices and resource center are open:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
